I always suggest letting MemTest86+ run overnight as it can take a while. So im sitting here with my asus g74sx and im playing a game without problems and i exit the game and pull out the charger because i dont wanna destroy the battery because i know some people says that having the charger in the laptop for too long can damage the battery, dont know if its true tho. My laptop has an i7 6700HQ coupled with a gtx 1060 3gb 16 GB of ram and a 1tb hard drive. Let the test run performing 6-8 passes. Please DinohScene or anyone else can you help me get retroarch up and running the way it should.

Remove the heatsink and cooling fan assembly from the card. Remove the graphics card and set it down on a clean and spacious work surface. Most newer games are very resource intensive and memory is a key component of that. If a card was too close to your graphics card, rerun a game and check the temperature of the graphics card, otherwise, continue along with this procedure. RAM is another classic cause of game crashes. Finally, consider upgrading your fans if necessary. If that doesn’t work, make sure all fans are working and are all pulling air in the right direction. If your system is running too hot, clean it thoroughly and remove all dirt and dust.
